I have tried photographing fireworks on only a few occasions with little success. Somehow, I managed to capture this image which has become my favorite fireworks capture to date. Fireworks displays are rare here in Utah due to the dry landscape and the risk of fire. One day I do hope to attempt more such captures. This image was capture at a July 4th fireworks show in New Boston, NH.

Hello and welcome to my photography gallery. My journey into the fascinating world of photography began in 2007 when I decided I was ready to upgrade from a very basic point-and-shoot camera to something that would allow me more options for the photographs I was taking. I chose an Olympus SP-560UZ which proved to be the perfect camera to learn my craft with. It did not accommodate interchangeable lenses...cuz I was a newbie and what did I know? I used this camera for the next ten years taking a variety of wonderful photographs covering a gamut of subjects. In 2017 I was gifted a new Nikon D3400 camera with an 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens. Now I was raring to go. If I had to choose a favorite subject I would have to say florals....

Well done on this capture Len. I have tried unsuccessfully on a few occasions to photograph fireworks too and they are a rare event here as well due to the risk of fire.
