Description
Pineview Reservoir is a secondary water source for the Ogden Valley area in northern Utah. It's water source is primarily rain (which is scarce here in Utah) and snowmelt from the many surrounding mountains. Pineview Reservoir is the largest and busiest of several reservoirs in Utah. Secondary water differs from primary, household water in that it is not potable and is primarily used for such things as grounds keeping, car washing, filling swimming pools, etc.

Thanks Elaine! I've been to this reservoir many times but never to this side of it until just recently. Looking forward to revisiting when there is snow on the ground :)
